San Antonio de Areco, Argentina, will host the 86th National Tradition Fiesta on November 15-16, 2025. The event is free to attend. Main activities will take place at Plaza Ruiz de Arellano and Parque Criollo Ricardo Güiraldes. This celebration is a direct journey into the roots of the Pampas countryside, offering a unique experience for those seeking history, folklore, gastronomy, and rural life.

Throughout the weekend, Areco will be filled with activities: gaucho asado pits and folkloric peñas, creole skills demonstrations at Parque Criollo, country dancing and traditional dance groups, the Tradition Parade with riders, carriages, and gaucho groups, a fair of crafts and typical foods, and open museums, pulperías, and estancias.

On Saturday, November 15, at 11:00 AM, the official opening of activities will begin at Plaza Ruiz de Arellano and Parque Criollo. The program includes a gastronomic and artisan fair, folkloric peñas and the asado pit from noon, creole skills demonstrations all afternoon, and country dancing and folkloric presentations starting at 6:00 PM.

On Sunday, November 16, at 10:00 AM, the main Tradition Parade will start through the town's streets and Parque Criollo, featuring riders, carriages, and gaucho groups. Following the parade, there will be a creole lunch in the park, equestrian exhibitions, and a closing artistic ceremony with award recognitions.

San Antonio de Areco, located just 110 kilometers from Buenos Aires, is one of the most picturesque destinations in the province. The city invites you to stroll its colonial streets, visit the Ricardo Güiraldes Gaucho Museum, and enjoy creole cuisine in its historic bodegones and fondas.
